Parent University is a free event that allows parents and caregivers to learn more about their children's schools and acquire the tools needed to support their academic success. For this event, a general session will begin at 5:30 p.m. "STEM and Common Core in the Classroom". In addition, representatives from magnet schools/programs, choice schools, Hillsborough Virtual School, and career/technical programs will be available with information and applications from 3:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. This is your opportunity to obtain all of the information you need to make an informed choice for your child.
Parent University is a program designed by the Alliance for Public Schools in conjunction with Hillsborough County Public Schools to provide information to parents and other caregivers as they strive to support their child's academic life. Sessions focus on academic and support programs in Hillsborough County Public Schools, effective strategies families can use to help every child succeed, and ways to advocate for the resources necessary for our public schools.
